Geoffrey Legg

Owner of G.A. Legg & Associates, Geoff Legg is a seasoned financial advisor specializing in asset preservation. As a Financial Advisor, his primary focus is the creation of retirement, investment and estate planning strategies to help his 400 clients realize their financial and life goals.

Geoff has been in the financial services field for over 25 years beginning his career with the Equitable Life Assurance Company where he received the National Quality Award from the National Association of Life Underwriters, was a past member of the Million Dollar Round Table and a recipient of various other company awards.

Legg is a past president of the Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals.  He is a graduate of Muhlenberg College and past treasurer of their Allentown, PA Alumni Association.  He has earned the designation of Charted Life Underwriter, Registered Health Underwriter, and Chartered Financial Consultant from the American College, Bryn Mawr, PA.  Geoff is also Certified in Long Term Care by the CLTC Board of Standards Inc.

Mr. Legg has been an approved continuing education instructor for various financial organizations in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, including J.P. Morgan Chase, Fleet Bank, and HSBC Bank.

Since 1990, he has been providing financial educational seminars at local colleges and work places including Mack Truck, AirProducts, Traveler’s Insurance, Nycomed Pharmaceutical, LCCC, Muhlenberg College and local service organizations.

Geoff was on the board of directors of Allentown Osteopathic Hospital for over nine years as a member of the finance committee, chairman of the personnel committee, chairman of the search committee, vice chairman of the board, and acting president during 1993. He is past president of the Board of Associates of Lehigh Valley Hospital Network.

He is a longtime member and twice past President of the Rotary Club of Allentown West, an international organization whose purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.  Mr. Legg has recently completed serving for ten plus years on the Upper Macungie Township Planning Commission, PA.

A veteran of the U.S. Army and Army Reserves, Geoff enjoys fishing and spending time with his family.
